Language Screening & Quality Check

Our Language Screening is a service developed by LiNGUA Translations in order to check the language skills of an individual through the eyes of a native speaker in that language.

It was developed so you can be sure that when you take on an employee or want to use an individuals linguistic skills, you know what you are getting and won’t be disappointed.

Can I screen anyone for anything?

As long as we can video call the candidate, we can screen any individual from anywhere and at any time. Our native speakers are situated all over the globe.

How many languages are we able to look after?

We cater for around 60 languages. You simply need to get in touch and we can organise the language you require. It is as easy as that.

How does the Screening Work?
  • Our customer informs us of a request for the screening
  • We contact the candidate via platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype etc. using Video calling
  • Our Language Screening linguists are native speakers of the requested language and are based all over the world. They will ask them questions and set them a small writing task. This will assess their oral and written skills and identify their linguistic capacity. The findings are recorded on a shared spreadsheet immediately. Do note we are able to confirm whether the individual is a native speaker or not therefore suitable for your purpose, or not.
How can I get access to the Oral and Written Screening Service?

All you have to do is contact us and we will do the rest. We can provide you with our support in a heartbeat

During Language Screening we will check:

  • Name and Address via  (up to date) via official IDs such as Passport, ID Cards
  • Language skills: written and fluency level
  • Ascertain if they are native speakers, advanced speakers or trying to sneak under the radar
